Joao Cancelo has revealed that he has always wanted to represent Spanish outfit, Barcelona.
Cancelo, 29, joined Barcelona on loan from Manchester City in the 2023 summer transfer window – having completed his loan deal at Bayern Munich for the 2022/2023 season.
“I always wanted to play in the Barca shirt and show people who believed in me how difficult it was to come to Barca,” he told journalist, Toni Juanmarti.
The defender added: “It’s where I’ve always dreamed of playing. A dream club, all my friends know all my idols played for Barca.”
Cancelo has made one appearance for Xavi Hernandez’s side in the La-Liga since he joined the club.
